The city and suburbs of Detroit is getting tougher and tougher to survive. GM, Chrysler & Ford reported sales losses today, American Axle is still on strike, the mayor Kwame Kilpatrick is crook, BBDO and other agencies cutting workstaff, so things do not look well for the Big D. I have been here for over 20 years and things never looked so bad. Thank god for our good luck, health, family, friends and the people we work with. GM and IPG have been nothing but suberb to the Vary family, and we will continue to repay the favors. If we stick together, we can make it through this mega-detroit recession, well, more like a depression. Keep your chins up and know that life survives. Tomorrow a whole new life could happen, and probably will.
